=I am 16 going on 17=
THIS POST WAS SUPPOSE TO BE POSTED DECEMBER 24, 2008 but something happened due to internet connection crisis and technical difficulties.
Just celebrated Alkee's birthday. OFCOURSE they were late. Alkee's hair is whoa really STRAIGHT!
I asked him if he blow dried it and he said he had it semi-rebonded.
Ang straight grabe!
Grandma didn't bother to catch a ride with them to the Manor so she went on her own and she was really early.
The birthday celebrator (celebrator is the right word not celebrant) was an hour and thirty minutes late.
So we decided to eat ahead.
After we ate we (everyone except Tita Belle) went home (our house) and stayed there for over an hour. Then we off we went to the orphanage.
There were only 8 children playing in the orphanage.
Each child had their own story of how their parents abandoned them.
One of the older boys when he was 5 years old as he and his Mom was in SM his Mom told him to wait for her in a corner for she reasoned out that she needed to go to the toilet but then his Mom never came back. He was traumatize by this experience that when they go to SM he clings hard to his guardians in fear that he might be left again. So sad...
One of the babies was left in the hospital after her Mom gave birth. The baby's Mom told those beside her to watch over her baby for she promised that she will return but then she never did.
One of the babies was left in the streets of Bataan with boils all over his body.
One of the babies was left in one of the pews in Catherdral when the priest asked everyone to pray, the mother of the baby took this opportunity and left her child.
How can these mothers be so selfish?
Oh well, its really sad to hear this tales about the history of all these orphans.
And when I look at all the things I have right now, I can only say to myself, "who am I to complain?"
My Mom and I got really close to one of the babies. He wouldn't let go if you carried him. And Mom was his favorite. Baby Levi.
He was the baby that had boils. He was for adoption but the people who were suppose to adopt him didn't pass the pre-adoption trial. Its so sad. They gave up on him so easily.
if they didn't then he could've have a family by now.
hay.....
That's why I'm also excited to go back there next week on my birthday so I could share what I have to these orphans. I hope my birthday won't be the last time I will be visiting them.
I hope that one day, they would feel the kind of love that parents give their children. They may not feel it directly from their biological parents but maybe one day God will give them a family in where they would find security.

Just watched "Enchanted". I like it. Modernized classic fairy tale. Kinda disappointed that three of those nice songs in the movie were nominated for the Oscars but didn't win.
Oh well, tomorrow's Alkee's birthday! Oh wait its already 12. hahahaha... I'll just greet Alkee......
Anwyayz, the only reason why I'm staying up so late is because I want to greet Alkee "Happy Birthday" and i just did. I typed in my phone, "Happy birthday Alkee! Love ya couz!"
Eventually he replied, "Tnx. Love ya too... see you tomorrow."
Actually, if I check my clock now. Alkee's "tomorrow" meant today.
Well, today, were going to Camp John Hay Manor for Breakfast at 7am. I can't believe Tita Belle actually said "7am". I remember my birthday last year and it was at 7:30 am at Camp John Hay Manor and gosh the whole Marinas family was an hour late. Good thing, my friends were there.
Grandma is always the first to arrive. As USUAL! But as for now, she might not because Tita Belle, Alkee and Dravy are going to pick her up.
Oh well, I could indulge myself in a nice cup of creamy, rich, hot-chocolate while waiting for them. Or I could go ahead with the breakfast buffet.
After our breakfast at the Manor were going to serve lunch at Grandma's orphanage.
I just don't know if were going home in between.
oh well, I just hope I enjoy what is instore for me tomorrow.

ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Again......
Anywayz, just last Friday after our Christmas presentation in Prince Plaza, we knew that my friends and I were going out again. Our usual tradition. I just didn't know if the boys were going to tag along. SInce last year and the year before that they came with us. I wasn't just happy for some of them, since not all were our friends. Well my friends (I didn't like some of them).
I didn't know this time.
Anywayz, while we were eating (I don't know if it was lunch, dinner, snack, whatever) after the presentation, I received a text from Jommel asking where we were going.
I asked how many of them were coming along, and he said all. I asked how many again like amount and he said 10! GOSH! ANG DAMI! Hindi kami kasya sa taxi
So we girls decided to go ahead. I made
paalam to the boys and we went.
While we were at SM we met up with Jonna and Jacky. Jonna is so tall! Marga can't believe that Jonna is way taller than her now! I took a picture of both of them standing back to back.
We were waiting for the boys and we really got so
inis when Jommel said that they weren't coming.
So we decided to go to picture city and get our pictures taken.
We then went to picture city and had our photos taken....

I've been really really busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't have time to blog....
Anywayz, I'll be adding photos here soon.....
From the NSC to everything.....
And probably change my blog's name. Since you know, I won't be "Sweet Sixteen" anymore.
Can't believe it..... in my mind I just keep comparing the events that happened last year to what is happening this year.
Christmas program and NSC. Gosh... its almost like two months and I am not one-hundred percent over the NSC.
In my mind, I'm still stuck in a time warp or something. puh-leeze help me.
