RECITAL'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FIRST DAY
Well, the recital was suppose to be held last week May 7-9 but because of the typhoon it was moved to May 11-13!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE TIME TO PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yipee!!!!!!!!!! But since I was a teacher and teachers were required to be there. (My name by the way is not in the faculty list in the program...but i truly understand why since the program was released a week after I was a teacher. I was still new.) I had to be there really early because I had to ride with my parents and my Mom goes to work really early. I didn't want to take the jeep.
During the first day of the recital since I was really early and Music World was still close but the guards of Porta Vaga let me in since I told them I was from Music World. I didn't want to go up to the Roofdeck yet since I didn't know anyone there. Finally Teacher JV arrived. She asked me if I could teach her three of her students since she wasn't able to inform them about the new date of the recital but I WANTED TO WATCH so I just told her, "Tell them to watch the recital nalang para next year they know what its like." She agreed with me. hahaha...
(The stage was so HIGH! Teacher JV had a hard time going up and down...especially since she's playing the piano for almost all the recitalists in violin. So when I saw it I decided not to use my heels for the following day since that was my recital day. Since the stairs had like spaces between the steps baka my heels might go through)
She told me to give out the numbers to the recitalists. THERE WERE NO PINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teacher JV just told me to just give it out to them. ALL OF THEM (PARENTS) WERE ASKING FOR THEIR PINS! I had to tell that the pins will arrive soon.
It was tiring running from one student to another giving them numbers but Teacher JV helped me for a while and when Joana came she helped me too. ...
then we ate lunch with teacher JV and kuya Xamir....
After that we helped again with the recital Joanna and I decided to go to Music World to practice our pieces since we weren't really needed anymore. So we went and when I was done practicing I saw Isaiah and Isaac they brought Roi for her lessons in Violin.
Isaac just had his enrollment in SLU. I invited them to watch the recital and they came but they left after four performances.
I continued to watch those performances that I was interested in listening too.
I guess that was it for the first day!!!!!!!!!!!
